    Hi,is there any body out there that can help me! I have a newworld esteem si500 gas slot in cooker and the thermostat packed in about 6 months ago, i have called several so called service engineers out they come out and take model no ckg 21139,serial no 97110232 say they will ring back and i never here from them again?,i have been on quite a few web sites looking for the part myself but to no avail,please can anybody help!

    You should be able to get the part… but…

    You may well have to prove that you are CORGI registered to actually buy it, many companies will insist on this before selling a spare that you have to break the gas supply for or that has a serious potential for harm if fitted incorrectly or indeed anything round about the part that could cause the same.

    We can probably source the part for you no problem, but because of our own rules with regards for the safety of our customers (we like to keep customers, not kill them ;)) we, UK Whitegoods, wouldn’t sell you it unless you have a CORGI card with CKR1 on it.

    However, we can also help any repairer that you have engaged to carry out the repair providing that they are CORGI registered then there’s no problem.

    Model no longer listed on the tech info disc, so presumably obsolete.

    C00156349 is/was the part number, now obsolete though I’m afraid as Penguin suspected 🙁
