    the cooling fan on this oven fails to start and so overheats and knocks the oven off can someone explain where this fan is located

    it will more than likely be the pcb not the fan

    If this is a gas oven you cannot do this yourself, the fan on this is used for combustion as well as cooling making it a job only for a competent engineer.
