And you all thought this was gonna be easy and I’d do it all for you… 😆
I was about to post a thing about membership earlier but I’ve had a rethink about that whilst having my brains blasted by Rush this evening in Glasgow. The tenpanyani before was exquisite though, especially since David paid, I always enjoy a meal more when someone else is paying, dunno why. 😉
Anyway, I was going to ask about the membership form but, with the cobwebs having been blown away I think I’ll just crack on with it and make the form up, present it here, then you can decide what needs changing if anything. Faster that way.
Then, you need to look at associate memberships as I have been asked by one company already about it. Please start another thread with a suitably vague title please (Chris ;)).
After that we have to think on membership criteria or are you happy with the checks that Dave and I do to verify trade etc.? These are pretty rigorous as is TBH and, as I explained today to Sean, EVERY trade account is verified without exception.
Then, what you gonna do if say Comet come asking about membership? Another thread methinks.
After that you need to think on how you handle working with other TA’s, what ones are worth approaching and which ones are not? Is there any merit in contacting the likes of, say the NHS and seeing if we can steer business that way?
Before I go on I’ll let you have a few days, perhaps a drink or a pack of Annadin before we take “Next…” any further. 😉

Is tenpanyani the Scottish version of Teppanyaki by any chance. 😀
The checks on Repairs@ members seems to have stood the test of time, if your reports of very low numbers of complaints/comebacks is correct. I see no reason to alter it at the moment.
