Can anyone help me here? I have the above named washing machine and the drum has suddenly stopped turning!
I have checked all the normal stuff then I checked the brushes which were ok. I then put a set of testers on the motor feeds and noticed that I am only getting 110volts. Surely this should be 240? The machine goes through its cycle, giving 110 at the testers when the drum should be turning. There is 240v going into the module but only 110 coming out!!

Am I a million miles away or what?

Yep, please firstly don’t live test, it’s dangerous :zap:

Ask an engineer to call and test it properly for you. The repairs@ link below should provide one 🙂

With all due respect, If i could have afforded an engineer I would not have posted!! Im stony broke. I do have the added benefit of being an electrician which maybe I should have mentioned. I have also put a meter across the motor and the windings seem absolutely fine. Its the 113volts at the terminals that have me wondering. Its a 230-240 rated motor supplied with 113volts!!

Yes I totally agree with your safety sentiments. If youre not qualified then dont touch. I’m not a circuit board guru though!!!

Any further info would be welcome!
