What a nightmare! The dishwasher has packed in and my weekly fishing match is in jepoardy if it aint repaired! Please someone help.

The fault was first noticed when the machine had water in the bottom after a wash and the dishes were still unwashed. I removed all the filters and cleaned everything and after turning the machine back on the machine emptied. Great! 😳 No, it then filled with water during a test run and stopped with water in the bottom again, turn power off and back on, select a cycle and it empties, then fills with water and stops! I’ve tried the PCB re-set procedure to no avail.

Your opinions would be appreciated before I start to tackle this problem!

Are you trying to tell us that it isn’t circulating? Or that the whole thing cuts out after filling?

Sorry, didn’t explain myself to well.

I’ve just re-checked and the machine is spraying water around for approx 2-3 minutes but it then seems to be collecting in the basin (where the filter is) and then the programme stops! If I turn off and then back on, the machine will empty.

From this I would suggest that it is not circulating the water as it should! and from the other threads I have read today about D/Washer faults, I would assume the ‘programme stops’ due to water overfill?

But why would it not be circulating? Again Ideas welcome.

If it was the flood-protection cutting in, you would get flashing lights as an error code – the machine wouldn’t just stop. I suspect that you must have some sort of computer problem. I suppose it’s possible that the motor is overheating after a short period – there is no error code for no circulation.

I suspect it might be best to get the Pros – it’s a technically complex appliance and parts are rather expensive.

Power off if you feel like having a look.
