No display lights but pump is running

My sink drain blocked and caused dirty water to backfill into the Neff dishwasher with loads of waste. Now the machine won’t turn on or display any lights but the pump comes on by itself to drain whatever water is in the machine ( i tried to flush through). Any ideas as to the issue? Aqua stop??

there is a float in the base of the machine where the works are
you need to find out if the base is flooded

remove the cover below the door and if there is water in there mop it out taking care not to wet any electric components

also check plug is out before you start

Thanks Dave. can you be more specific about where this cover is? It is a built-in and I can’t see any obvious cover plate to remove below the door externally

lower the door, get on the floor and look under the door, there is a metal cover held on with 2 torx 20 screws

you will have to remove the outer door and the kitchen kick strip to gain access
