Original fault was filling with hot water when off.

Customer said she turned the power off to machine, when she turned it on again no display even after pressing start button, can hear a relay operating when power turned on.

Is it possible to set up a test cycle on this machine?
    any ideas why no display?
    Any help appreciated.

    Mike

Are you sure it is a relay and not the door lock. I think I posted test sequence for this model last week.

    Yes you can.

Its quite a farce though. i cannot remember, (i’m a former hotpoint engineer) edit: just realised iadom’s post.

if its the Wammy 63S im thinking of, with the digi-display, they knacker quite often.

it Cant be the door lock if the door lock is energised and voltage registering thru…

    order both boards….

    Regards.

Mike, I remember now, I sent the test info to someone else last week. Still have on my HD. PM me your e-mail addy and I will send it to you.

PS. Never had to change a display/control module on one of these.
