We are constantly reminded that ignorance of the law is no excuse. But how are we supposed to know about new laws and regulations that the government bring out? Had it not been for UK whitegoods, I would still be totally ignorant about Weee. My point is, how much other Bullshine exists out there that we are supposed to comply with, when no one has ever heard of it?

Well I must say the Whitegoods and WEEE go together and the powers that be have sussed that issue for all concerned in that area as you have realised and well done to them! 🙂
But please don’t be in fear of “the government” bringing out new laws without your knowledge. Sleep easy in your bed as most changes in regulations are slow and well publicised toward those that may be affected by it.
If you are VAT, CORGI or NICEIC registered then you will be well aware of the mountains info they forward each month through your letterbox. Your local Trading Standards office can provide lots of additional information that directly relates to your trade. They are there to help should you be the least bit concerned as to what “laws” you must adhere to in your daily working life.
Big Brother is watching us all ’tis true but sticking to the rules is not an arduous task and help is always at your disposal. 😀
