ParticipantHi all
Can any one help with this problem
Hpt integral d/w bf72. she fires up the display but when you shut the door you get 2 beeps ( appantly normal ? ) then silence.
checked drain pump as it should come on first but it seems ok, when you lift the flood protection float it fires up, but the supply to it is only 99v not 240v at the start of the program.
I am not sure if I have a modual problem feeding the pump or a fill / blockage problem.
Tested neutral all round and seemded ok, but I couldnt get the d/w out ( customer to dismantle kitchin today so I can ).
I had no fault code showing at all.
Does any one have the circuit dia or the ins on how to run test seq on this.
Already spent 2 1/2 hrs on it last night so any help would be apreciated.
Thanks.Paul

This is a smeg made one so check the coil on the dispenser and also the inlet valve. Have you left it long enough after the beeps? Sometimes they sit there is silence for a good minute or so before doing much. unusual not to get an error code though so may be a module problem.

Nope, it’s still a Smeg 😉
Check all the usuals as per any other Smeg unit (Diplomat etc), they’re all pretty much the same Paul.

with the door open, switch the appliance on and within 2 seconds press the prog select button 4 times rapidly. The display will go to F! which indicates that it’s now in test mode. Pressing the half load button allows you to step through the test progs
I’ve got the full diagnostic paperwork, but it goes on for weeks.

Hi all
Should I laugh or cry ❓
Checked all the usual things to no avail, so thought I go for it and try the test sequence not even knowing what any of it ment.
Went through no problems fill pump dispensor wash pump lots of c8,s and c6,s ete all ok ❓
When started up all was ok now, pump fill wash dispensor heater ete ❓
God knows what did it but it now seems ok.
Do you think the test sequence reset the modual or just freed something up, I never did find out what the problem was. 😕Paul
