❓ I have an Indesit 620 UK dishwasher.

The cycles seem to work OK but the water is not heated.
The element reads 28 Ohms which seems about right.
The thermostat works OK (tested using hot water – it switches as it should)

    Any ideas please?

    DI620UK?

Temperature control on this machine is by thermister in the door panel. The only thermostat is a safety cut-off in line with the heater. Thermister is integral with the Bit100 control card. Both are notoriously unreliable.

    You’ll probably need THIS.

🙂 Thanks for the info. Is it easy to fit?

Having looked further, yes it is easy to fit.

Just a quick question. I can get hold of surface mounted thermistors, but do you know the value (Resistance at 25 C?) and whether it is positive or negative response type?

    Thanks again,

    Mike.

The thermistor is unlikely to prevent the machine from heating.

The complete PCB including the hardwired thermistor is not over expensive.

Two different ones though, need full serial number to ID.

    Jim.
