    Hi

I have a Beko oven and have verified that power supply is not the issue, by swapping fuses and seeing that the separate hob (which shares power) still functions.

I have also tested the resistance on the thermal cut-off and clocked a 0.8, same as baseline (https://photos.app.goo.gl/Zm5gcFWy4satAmPx7).

Anything else I can do before I write it off?

    Thanks in advance guys.

Have you checked the main connection block where the power goes into the oven ?, Problems here are not uncommon on Beko cookers.
Please make sure that you isolate the power first.

    Yeah – looked at that.
No frazzle or burns and it felt very secure.

Have you tried inputting your model number on the search bar to see if anyone else has had the problem ?.

Which knob are you referring to Dave?

    Yeah – I’ve had a scourer.

it was the main selector knob I was thinking

What is the model, saves me stabbing in the dark as we don’t know which cooker we are talking about

live goes in and goes to the clock. it then goes to terminal p3 on the control sw. If it gets there make sure it comes out the other side of the switch when you turn on

neutral comes in and goes to terminal 4 on the switch. Also make sure it switches to terminal p2 when turned on

    Dave
