KeymasterHe can’t do that that, we checked. 😉
Plus we also ran several checks, or rather the solicitors did, to ensure that the means to pay were there even if it does mean considerable hardship. But, that’s not my problem, my problem is the money missing from UKW because of his actions.
In any event, financial and property transfers are “rolled back” to before the date of the first crime so anything done after that cuts no ice with the court. They will order seizure even if transferred to other ownership unless valid proof and documentation is produced as well as a money trail that can be audited.
I mentioned the Bridie/DAR thing at the outset, the solicitor laughed and simply siad, “The oldest trick in the book… that won’t save him.”

Well, deadline expired.
He said he was submitting a defense, then didn’t so it looks as if we may get a motion to decree or whatever they call it but the fat lady’s not sung yet, just getting warmed up as it looks as if it’s almost over. TBH, the sooner the better as we all just want to draw this thing to a close.
Silly man, he should have taken the generous initial offer and had done with it but now, if we’re granted this, he will owe over £115,000 and much of that in the legal costs that he instigated.

And due to Mr Heath’s shenanigans we have had VAT inspection over the past couple of days which hasn’t gone as well as hoped. Does it ever I ask?
Needless to say that’s kept me very busy and pretty much out the loop for a few days so my apologies if things have been a little slow of late, but it’s been a tad hectic.
On the upside though, whilst we get stung with the VAT on the stuff he bought for personal use as it’s so blatantly obvious it’s unreal, t looks as if Mr Heath may be getting a visit from the VAT man. 😈
It’s all good fun. 😕

From the rumour mill, posted by KW in the thread re “Redundancy Rogues”
I also have a situation where an ex-director has (allegedly) embezzled funds from the business and it’s a fair sum of money, running to tens of thousands and yet, at every turn, the justice system appears to side with the accused or, as some would see it, the guilty party.
Is there a hidden message in that that a certain bald matelot is wriggling out of it? I just have feeling that he seemed the type to set up a contigency plan.
Hope not.

Not really Alex, it’s just that as usual, the law seems to side with the accused and not the victim of crime. 🙁
They’ve given him still more time as he’s played the “I’m dying of cancer” card, which was expected.

I know the feeling. I sacked someone from the spares dept last December. Basically he was taking credit card & on-account transactions and not passing through the info or invoices etc. Meant a load of customers had parts f.o.c.
He waited until 1 week short of the 3 month appeal period & pounced with a call to tribunal. All the time he has been sat on his backside watching Jeremy Kyle with an eye on the calendar.
His defence is he did pass on the paperwork, and it was up to accounts to input it onto Sage, what happened to the invoices after he created & printed was nothing to do with him. In a nutshell, I cannot get out of it. I’ve already been the victim of the bad practice as I had to do a self declaration, now I’m a victim because I dealt with it.
All part of the reason I’m not going out much, I haven’t said too much as may be construed as subjudecy.
Can’t wait to retire.

KeymasterYep, I know the feeling well as I’d love to make this very public indeed but I can’t. 🙁
Once it’s done and dusted though it will all be made public as it will then be a matter of public record.

Has anyone seen the D&G agents newsletter that came out today.
There is a full spread in the middle, and one rather overweight Bollickal Bill the sailor receiving his tech award. Thinking about it, he has grown a full spread in the middle as well I suspect, looking at his chins. To quote Joan Rivers, “More Chins than the Chinese telephone book”
I digress…
D&G have stated that DAR Rotherham has just won 7 awards in the last 10 years Now correct me if I’m wrong, I thought DAR was the new conception afer the demise of KPI or whatever he called his lot? and that was about 3 years ago.

Well spotted Alex, perhaps best if I don’t point that one out however. But you are correct, DAR Rotherham came into existence about 3 years ago when PKI folded.

What hit me is if he is playing the cancer card, why does he look so lardy? or is he on Steroids?
Never mind, it does make me smile when he is feted by these reputable companies. Hope he hasn’t won the Connect Jolly in Majorca this week.

Think bit may be a different one, Ken picked it up some time ago, and I seem to recall, checked it out. Even K.H. himself would not be that stupid to come back with his actual name.
Nevertheless, I bet he has been in UKW somewhere under an alias, probaly set himself up in the early days, and left sleeping.

From what I can see he uses one of his engineer’s logins. 😉
