No spin

Blomberg 1501AAA. Please help solve the problem, the washing is building up and the wifes nagging. The washing machine stopped in cycle so took the back off, drum would not revolve, looked at the motor, brushes worn, replaced brushes, reassemble. Washes OK but trips ELCB (not MCB) when it finishes rinse. Drum rotates OK on wash but does not move on spin. Machine about four tears old.

It’s possible the motor has an earth leak when it’s been running for a while.

I think it’s engineer time to be honest who can check out the possible causes with the correct test equipment. Click on the repairs@ link below 🙂
