    I have a Hoover OPH714DF.

    All works OK except if I set the spin speed above 1000 rpm it just skips the spin step.

    Last time I had a washer which would not spin it was a dry solder joint on the REMCO (motor control) board – but that would not spin at all.

    Guidance as to whether to suspect the REMCO or whether its more likely to be in the main machine control board would be greatly appreciated since time to take the machine apart is very short….
