KeymasterI have to say I’m well chuffed with D&G today, £45 a call on laundry for warranty work is excellent with no strings. No silly contract, no silly service levels and payments from them are great.
Now if only we can convince others to follow! 😕
Hence the positive posts about D&G today, I think we should shout about it when they get it right as well as when they get it wrong and maybe it’ll shame some of the others into thinking twice. I may be hoping for a bit much but you have to start somewhere and, for me, this is a very positive result whether we brought it about or not I don’t care, it’s a result however you look at it.

ParticipantWhat brand , any service level agreements? Your obviously happy about. Hence the tital ‘No strings attached’. Is it domestic or commercial?
December 12, 2003 at 9:40 pm #106717kwatt
KeymasterSamsung laundry only under the standard service level agreement so no additional for the rate.
So basically what we already do for more money and that can’t be bad.

thats good money, but will there other rates go up to match this ?

KeymasterI sincerely hope so as that rate is realistic IMO. It would appear that D&G are at least trying.

Damn good timing that is, as they phoned me on thursday and asked us to come aboard. 2nd tier at the moment, but things can change 🙂

do a good job Dave …teleSCOPE are history along with the thousands pumped into it by NESN.
D&G were offered a half share by NESN and turned it down ….and since the latest from DJH all D&G agents who supported the strike against D&G by NESN are or will be history to.
this is warroom info only
be warned …do not repeat this info
otherwise you will cut my info line into D&G

The make referred to is Samsung. I was sworn to secrecy as John Dugdale of Service Force thinks he is in the running as well.
Can I suggest nobody lets this on to anybody at Service Force Slough.

The secret is safe from here, but…
WHOOOHOOO!!!!
Bye, bye NESN, nice knowin’ ya! 😉
They were on borrowed time IMO, now they are truly screwed if both Electrue/DSG and D&G are after them!
Interestingly, I thought SF had Samsung laundry so they’re not exactly going to be turning cartwheels at this news, but hey, life sucks, then you die. TBH though, it’s work SF should never have had in the first place and I did say this years ago when they went chasing 3rd party work and I will say the same about Whirlpool, it’s a daft notion. What they are trying to do is fund a proportion of their own costs at someone else’s expense, it won’t work.
One thing that DSG don’t like and, Alex will back me on this, is being held to ransom, they’re the only ones allowed to do that in their eyes. 😉 Trubshaw will be remembered for his little ploy, trust me.

Hi dave,
according to D&G DJH approached D&G to ask that they continue to send the work to the company even tho NESN had bought it lock stock and barrel.D&G were willing to keep the work there because the previous owner was still there and he had been a previous TEQ award winner. However I have told D&G of how DJH fucked them up a couple of weeks ago and they are acting on the info with a view to going to war with NESN because they started this.
It has been said to me that they are quite prepared to replace all nesn agents with a more solid agent system and they will not be fucked around by anyone…..
you will all be aware that if you have a problem with D&G all you have to do is talk to them to resolve it…
there is more and D&G have now offered any help they can be in my battle on the legal front with trubshit and the help they are offering is of great comfort.
regardsted

Indeed, which also implies that they know that there was an NESN involvement in all this in some way.

I agree regards 3rd party work. If I want to carry out work for other makes, I like to negotiate directly. I know I work for ISDA but I can take it or leave it. I don’t touch Maytag for example. Yet with Service Force, because it is a big contract, we are obliged to go down the route of whatever they take on.
Trouble with DSG is, they don’t like it if we stand up to them, even if we are defending ourselves.
Is it an idea to drop a wink to Ian Spicer of D&G regards this site? He may be glad of the info for the NESN issue. I know he was having a meeting with Terese Eyton-jones at the Wimbledon office and it was regards NESN. She wouldn’t tell me any more.

Ian Spicer is fully aware of the site but he doesn’t hold an account. Two people do from D&G but I’ve never seen a login by them yet but they have been on the site as recently as Friday. 😉
VERY intersting regarding the meeting, but I’d have to conclude that the intention is to fuck NESN up a bit.
Isn’t life fun right now? 😀
