We did something a bit radical in respect of the commercial installations, explained here:

    http://iseappliances.co.uk/products/com … ption.html

Basically, the reported faults increase many times over but, the vast bulk of calls are not covered by warranty. Even though some people do try to sneak them through as warranty jobs, most aren’t. In fact, very few actually are genuine warranty jobs.

Now if I were an enterprising soul I’d try to sell them into commercial clients and sign them up for a maintenance contract, but that’s just me. 😉

    How It Works

    Dead simple.

You sell a machine with the discount for no warranty which is, for example, £80 (off trade ex VAT) on a W256W and register it as no warranty (online form updated) and we will credit your account or refund the discount to you.

Bear in mind, all the machines will be invoiced at the full standard price, if you don’t claim the no-warranty discount on registration you will not get it.

If you are paying up front you will be charged the normal full trade price and the discount will be applied and refunded after registration.

The reason for this is simple, to stop some muppet from trying to get discounted machines. 😉

    Rules (So Far)

The machine has to be in commercial premises or, registered to your own business and business address.

Serial number/s MUST be provided on registration.

Although the page says that it’s multiple machines, that’s to put off the general public trying it on. You can install a single product and get the discount applied where it genuinely is light commercial use and not domestic.

We will look at damages on delivery obviously and anything in the first few days but, after that, the client is on their own.

    K.
