    Re: Noisy Ariston

Thanks Helo. I’ve managed to strike a happy balance with van stock and also being a gas engineer I do carry quite a few Oven stats and FSD’s. Not always been this way though. In Nov last year I was down at 77{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} but I treat work as if it was my own business and I have found that this way I clear more calls per week.
Too many engineers have the attitude that if they dont have have the exact part it states on partfinder they wont entertain fitting another of a simlilar type

Try working that one in an indirect service situation and you’re told the company won’t be paid on that job because that’s not listed as the correct part.

Whether it’s right or wrong is another matter.

Thanks for all your interest/comments, I thought that I would give you the latest developments.

Engineer duly arrived as promised & repaired machine. So far so good!.

However, machine didn,t complete cycle, conditioner wasn,t used & new heater didn,t work (ie. cold wash).

As I type my wife is on phone to Ariston.
