Sold a couple of Bosch washing machines WAS28460 £599
This a really nice machine, One of the selling points is its Quit induction motor
What lets it down is the noisy pumps,

Often think that about the many induction motor machines on the market today, they can be tumbling with barely a whisper coming from the mechanical bits, just the sloshing of the load breaking the peace… quite soothing like the old zan washcrafts.

Then the crappy plastic mag pump rattles into life and spoils things somewhat 😯

Probably cost no more than a couple of quid to put a decent, quiet shaded pole style unit with decent bearings and a metal shaft. :rolls:

Can vouch for that. Got one about 5 weeks ago and you’re correct, the pump just spoils it. I did get my rebate back in about 3 weeks as well and I certainly didn’t pay £599 for it 🙂

It’s a Bosch sponsored promotion giving “Energy cost cashback for the whole year!” which runs out on 31st December. On this model specifically you pay the asking price and then ‘once registered through Bosch’ they give around a £25 refund direct.

    HTH?:D
