    My dishwasher has suddenly developed a very loud grinding noise during the wash cycle. The dishwasher still seems to wash and drain. The noise seems to occur during the times when it is being filled with water. I assume this could be a faulty motor, but are there any other possibilities.

    They fitted an askoll wash motor on this version which is indeed susceptible to the noise you describe so that is most likely.
