Whats the general opinion on noisy lgs .change the bearing or change the drum. im talking about when the customer is not paying , or does it differ when customer is paying. what is the easier,i have only ever changed drums.m

hi machineman,

if its insurance then i change the whole drum as they’re paying but for private work i just knock the bearings out etc etc but still charge them £100 to do.think its best to do which ever suits u and to make the most money on,as its getting harder these days to earn to earn a decent crust.

In Australia we can get the spider as a seperate part on the 8050 model types
