Hi Guys,

I can’t recall if this has been mentioned before, but there’s no harm in repeating it anyway.

Just in case you didn’t know we can, if you require the service/s, process your margin as a cost to ISE if the payment is made directly to us. This gets around whacking up your turnover and may help keep you below the VAT threshhold.

So basically you’d get back the full margin excl the VAT (which we do have to pay to the s).

It also means that to process a sale for you on a credit or debit card is entirely possible by simply using the same system. It may help if it means you getting the sale or not.

If you want any more information just speak to John, David or myself but it’s not really a hassle to do this for you if you need us to.

I have had a few customers ask about paying for ISE appliances by credit or debit card. Whats the procedure to do this through ISE??

Hi Tim,

Basically all you need t do is call us from the customer’s house, we take the details and payment then pay you back the difference by return as a “commission”. That way it stays off your books as well so, if you’re non-VAT registered all you earned or show in your turnover is the profit on the sale.

It’s a nice way of doing it and saving non-VAT registered businesses from bumping up their turnovers. Some would say that it’s cheating, notably the VAT man. 😉
