    Which manufacturer produces non welded tubs in new washing machines?

    Some Bosch (mostly top end), Miele…… err? Maybe some obscure brand otherwise that’s it.

    Why bother asking?

    Thanks Martin. I’m asking because I am so cross that my otherwise excellent aeg – only 4 years old – needs new bearings and can’t be repaired because of the welded drum. So I want my next machine to be repairable.
