Norcool S-7-L or S-75L Drinks Cooler

Hi all

This one is a bit out of my normal area of expertise but is for an existing customer which is why I said I would take a look.

The complaint is that it is freezing up solid when left overnight, when I looked at it today it was dripping a lot of water off of the back panel (Drain hole unblocked), the compressor was also red hot to touch and I wondered if the unit was excessively noisy (It may not be but as I said a little out of the normal for me – the noise was not caused by the fan inside) – when I took the thermostat out to have a look at it I found that the switch does change state somewhere mid way through its arc (not sure if it is at the right temperature point or not) – so would this be likely to be a gas fault or thermostat?

If it is the thermostat then does anyone know which is the correct replacement (it is a “Danfoss”, I found a list of numbers on it but none of them make sense to me – 25T65, IA11, 1651, 077B0028L), If it is likely to be gas then is it worth repairing or where is a good source of new ones?
