Nordmende SO313BL Troubleshooting

Hi folks,

Having and issue with my oven, manufacturer and model in title.

Basically, when powered up, it has an intermittent beep and flashes “0:00”.

Any attempt to press buttons results in the display showing “9:40” and the oven is not functional. Assuming “9:40” is the error code.

Trying to troubleshoot, wondering what the error code is indicating so I can consider my next step.

Any help/advice appreciated, thanks in advance.

It exists, Google recognises the model but nobody else seems to so I’ve no clue what it is, who made it or what might be wrong with it. 🙁

from what i can see in the owners manual the timer should have no bearing on the cooking process but you would have to find this out

if you remove the top of the oven and look behind the thermostat knob

if its got a small capilliary tube coming off it that goes into the oven then its likley the clock is only there to tell the time and control the over if your out

if so the clock may be able to be bypassed and disconnected so the unit works without it

i would need some pic to confirm this of the back of the controls and any other control boards

Does sound like the timer unit has failed. It’d be worth doing as [USER=”4209″]electrofix[/USER] advises and seeing if it can be bypassed.
