Norfrost lid seal…

Recently picked up a Norfrost C4BEW and seem to be having an issue with it only frosting half way up the interior. When first used it managed 3/4 of the way up before dropping back. Local appliance guy thinks it might be the lid seal but hasn’t been able to find one, probably due to age. He’s looking into current models that might share the same seal but not heard from him for weeks?

Wondering if anyone here knows if they are available or shared with a more recent chest freezer. Would be a pity to skip it.

It is bonded to the lid and I am afraid the lid is long obsolete.

Very unlikley to be the lid or seal preventing the system from freezing all the interior, more liklely the compressor is worn out.
