not filling

    We have a CDA Cw 494 dishwasher but it has stopped filling we can here the machine working but when opened there is no water running in, the hose is not kinked and the water supply is turned on.
    any advice please.

    Whirlpool-built machine. Is the start light flashing, if so, what is the pattern?

    just cheched, green light on not flashing, turned machine on and off three times now sounds as though machine is filling ? will wait and see if it goes through cycle, strange?
