KeymasterSince the move to CDSL of the Brandt and Fagor work, which was beginning of May, the work has dried up for us.
I’ve not had a chargeable call at all, and all the calls have been “in guarantee”, (all 4 of them), so is this universal across members of this forum who do the work?
I still receive the D&G warrenty stuff of course.

I have gary calling on Thursday so wanted some feedback from members before I ask him to explain the work/volumes.
Thought it better to do it quietly 1st.

KevinSame here. I assume when you say the work has dried up, I take it you mean the volumes of Brandt as a whole. I’ve had a damn sight more than 4 Brandt calls though. We are getting about 10 per week. Bloody shite!!
Not happy as I told R.F. I was not doing it, but workloads are dead, so we need the calls.
We are not getting any chargeable calls either, so I may well initiate a little exercise asking customers how old the product is; and if over 12 months, have they made payment arrangements with the call booking team when they made the initial call? I’ll give them some tale that we don’t want to make the mistake of trying to charge again.
Will come back on that one.

 Brandt, nice knowing ya! 😆
I HATE them with a passion now just cause of what one guy that is totally clueless has done over the past two years and I’m trying really hard to restrain myself from openly saying so.

I’ll have a quiet word with DJ here as I *know* that Brandt were passing him work direct in my postcodes while still under the D&G hat. He also did some in your area Alex after you threw them out, I asked him not to but greed etc ….
I haven’t had one call on an I/G Brandt product for over two months 😉

K.Well if you aint going to name Manoj Aggawhal, let me have the pleasure.
I hate the bastards with a vengeance, but took the decision that my protest was totally hollow. Brandt don’t give a toss who does the work, they’ve passed it to CDSL & it is their problem. I’ve just looked at my CDSL account, in 7 Months they are my 4th highest revenue stream.
I told R.F. it was under duress that we do this crap, and one little bit of piss-aasing around from Brandt, & I’m off! To be fair to CDSL all I would end up doing is tarnishing their reputation a little bit, but I won’t let Brandt try it on again. Such antics as sending thier own technician to some of the calls whilst we were awaiting tech advice etc.
The theory is, all will look dandy with CDSL in this area until Brandt pulls one of it’s stunts, and believe me I’m waiting.

Actually I was thinking about this, as you do, and I have to say that I’ve noticed no drop in work from AIS at all due to this. Which would imply that the quantity of Fagor out there was pretty damned low to me.
Dave or anyone else, you noticed any drop?
What I can tell you is that we’ve had multiple calls looking for Brandt or De Deitrich both in and out of warranty calls wanting done and the customers cannot find a repairer. Some of them have been literally begging us to go fix them, which I won’t do on principle. Plus I’ve got too many other better things to be doing with the time, like two lovely new sites in Balloch. 🙂
But I had requested that Brandt send us through the contact number for their new service arrangements, shock, they haven’t responded to the fax. That fax was a returned call that they tried to put through to us after the shut off date from DAG. they have called several times since asking us to do work for them which we have refused to accept.
Of course some of you will be aware that Mr Mowgli tried to take us to court…
On letter and a debit note later they backed off big time with a simple, this is gone for now but we reserve the right, blah, blah. In other words, they now realise that Brandt cocked it right up and there’s bugger all that they can do about it.
We had to price jobs up for DAG and, because the silly twats had shut down AGORA access, we couldn’t get prices for DAG so they can’t pay us for the calls. So we can’t even fulfill a full statemnet of accoount for Brandt, nor can we price any returns that we have. I had to ask Craig to get what prices he could from Dave until his AGORA access was also revoked. I am also informed that Brandt even managed to remove its own access to AGORA at the same time, muppets.
All in all, it’s been a total fucking shambles from start to finish and the changeover handled incredibly badly, by Brandt not CDSL I suspect but it offers a true indication of the shit you have to put up with from this crew of jokers.
After the last debacle I think we’re seeing a pattern.

Nope, as we never get any work anyway, they phoned me the other day to see how quickly we could get to a call, I asked how quickly could their “prefered” repairer get there, 3 days they said, in that case we can get there in 4 was my reply .

If you go to the Brandt website and phone the number on there for service you get a recorded message asking that you redial the dedicated service number, guess who’s number it is – DAG still !
Useless bunch of twats 🙄

KeymasterHow on Earth are this crew still in business? Total waste of space.
Nice one on AIS BTW, if only more of us would do what we do. 😉
There’s some right pissed off Brandt punters in Glasgow I’ll tell you as we did not lie for those idiots. 😉

Well that’s it now getting out into the open nicely and I doubt that CDSL or Brandt will be happy puppies when they read that little lot.
And Rudi and Alex have still to dedicate a little bit too! 😉
