Not Sure What’s Wrong With Dishwasher

Hi All,

I have an integrated slimline dishwasher made by Flavel. I’m not 100{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} sure on the model number but i’m pretty sure its either the FWD40 or 45.

A few months ago, it was regularly leaving a pool of water in the bottom so I replaced the pump and that seemed to improve.

Around the same time as the water issue or just after there seemed to be something going on with the power to the appliance as when you opened the door the lights on the panel would flicker and crackle slightly. Sometimes the lights will go out completely meaning you have to shut the door then open it again to kick it back in until the lights stay on so you can select your programme then off you go.

Then last night I heard it making a weird noise towards the end of the cycle as it if was struggling slightly. Im now wondering i there was ever actually anything wrong with the pump and now thinking its something to do with the power and the cycle is stopping before it is meant to complete?

It has never tripped the house electrics or anything.

Im just wondering if its a goner or if it can be fixed

firstly have you checked the live pin on the plug and socket aren’t burning out?? this wont alwaystrip your electrics .
