Hi all…

I started this thread to keep it out of the COP one…. 🙂

Firstly, I confirm I’ll be there, secondly, venue looks top of the range! Pool and all 😀 !

Whilst talking Friday evening, someone asked ”how can we make these events more interesting for peoples partners”…..

The Hilton provides a lesuire club, pool, gym etc (yes, probably at extra cost) but that would probably entice more attendees to ask their partners to come along as they can go do something relaxing and entertaining in the ‘non meeting’ timeframe. In turn, if members can see that as a little ‘break’ if you like, and be able to bring ‘the wife/husband’ whatever, that may also help people justify taking the day off…. 😕

Anyway, I look forward to November, where we can sit and have our ‘quality time’ together getting things sorted and moving again!

It’s slap bang in the middle of the Kevin Heath court thing as well as T’s birthday on the 11th and, trust me, if I screw that up I’m dead man. 😉

Can I fly to there from Glasgow or Prestwick?

There is no vital reason for you to be there…. It’s round two of the COP thing, so a few more to go, even after this brainstorming session.

Right all rooms are booked under myself with my corprate rate £59 per night Bed & Breakfast.

All rooms are :

King Hilton Guest Room
Traditional room with 1 king bed, high-speed internet, Sony PlayStation and easy chair. Sleeps 2 adults.

right..these are my thoughts

We can check in from 3pm onwards so shall we start thrashing things through over a drink from 5.30-7.30 go and get showered /changed etc come back and eat for 8pm carrying on if we feel like it ,then carry on Sat as required ?

Priority- COP please look at it beforehand (can someone bring a laptop with the COP as a word document)
Up for discussion if opportunity
Budgets
Future meetings
anything else ?
I am happy to chair things as required

I’m not going to be able to attend this weekend….. something has come up and I have to have my son….. Can’t get out of it so I have to miss it unless we can re-schedule?
