Techy queery here; I have a problem with a Beko dsc85w, which is working apart from no heat being generated by the element. The thermostat has not activated the little red trip button, and has continuity. The element also has continuity. The NTC themistor appeared to be ok when ohms measured in hot/cold situations, and there is 232V into it, Puzzled, i then checked the resistance when the thermistor was live and found the ohms jumped all over the place. Although i am led to believe these rarely fail, it would seem that the elctrical side of what is presumably an electro/mechanical device is faulty. is this asumption correct or do i need to look elsewhere? Thanks in advance, Alan.
