Ocean fridge/freezer APM 6825

My fridge/freezer has developed the following fault:

Both fridge and freezer ar no longer chilling. Power is on, light in fridge on, but compressor/motor not operating.

Can anyone guide me in the right direction as to the probable cause?

Could be a stat fault, relay/TOC or a compressor fault.

Best getting an engineer in if you’re not sure.

kwatt is correct though depending on the model it may just be the stat which is worth replacing. This would obviously depend on the make/model of your fridge.
Perhaps if you post the details here then a guide price for replacing it could be found…

It’s a Brandt made unit for MFI, although why it’s badged Ocean I have no idea.

This one is controlled by a pcb which is the most likely failure on these, £100.39 + VAT though for the part :eeek:

It may not be that of course, best call an engineer to make a diagnosis for you really Willie.
