Ocean VN6OU Upright frost free freezer

please help ! 😥
Engineer already came out as freezer was not freezing becuse fan has stopped.However now guarantee has run out and fan is intermittent meaning freezer not safe to use. Now all engineers want to charge £55 plus just to come and tell us what we already know, the fan isn’t working properly.

Is it time to throw it in the bin ?

If so does anyone have any advice on which freezer to get next, we want it to last a long time (or are they only meant to last two years like a hamster ?) and it must be no higher than 4ft 6inches .

Any comments appreciated.

have you tried completely defrosting it for 36hrs?

that might be worth a try!

dont buy anything merloni, and youll probably be okay

bosch seem the best buy at the minute, as long as its not that kgn3400 thing, but i believer theyve cured those machines now
