    This is just a long shot but does anyone know if the taco magnet is available as a seperate item

    I can’t find this model listed by Brandt, if it is a Brandt of course 😕

    As they don’t even sell the brushes (even though they are available) then it’s very unlikely. What make of motor is it Mark ?

    Yup, PM the addy and I’ll sort it. BTW superglue and a thread binding on the step works a treat as well – not had one re-fail 😀
