Odd Miele condenser dryer fault

It’s a Miele T560C & during use the door solenoid operates (ie opens the door) fairly randomly but seemingly when the dryer gets to a high, though within range, temperature. Does it much less on the lower heat setting. Does anyone know if this is likely to be an electronic glitch or perhaps some sort of failsafe cutting in?

overheat stat tripping in…. could be restricted duct or inside blockage , or less likely stat failure

Yeah, door will open as a precaution if high temp is detected, most likely excess fluff has caused a blockage.
