Off peak problem

I wonder if anyone can help?

The off peak supply to one of my flats doesn’t work. I’ve live wired the storage heaters and they work fine. No RCD’s tripped and all possible has been checked out as OK. The flat’s white meter is radio controlled by the electricity board so I cannot check the supply, short of calling to the flat in the middle if the night and that’s a no no.

Is it possible the radio controlled meter switching has failed? Has anyone had experience in this sort of thing?

hello.yes.if meter has a sim,they can fix over phone usualy.if not,they change meter.its cutting off at off peak so check for sim card and ring energy supplier.they will sort.

The tenant tells me the electricity board came out yesterday and did something to the meter in the entrance hallway. Several other tenants had the same problem apparently. Thanks for your input…….. Sorted!!! 😀
