Spoke to Charles again, in depth, now getting a tad confusing! Now talking about incentives to give to customers to get the returns of questionairres they require.
Charles Wallace has agreed it would be good for us to attend, as he said “For a few hours to thrash it all out”. So, I have to email him with a few prospective dates…
I’ll start with Friday 26th March… Friday being the best day to take off I imagine for most? They require 2 weeks notice to assemble a team to sit with us.
How are you both fixed for Friday 26th March?

Ok, I’ll ring him again tomorrow, I’ll ask him to confirm whether that’s OK with them and advise me of what times etc… Will post as hear back.

I thought they might do this, had a questionaire recently from my local garage requesting a customer survey, they were offering a holiday or service bill paid.
Obviously we cant do something quite as big as a holiday, but maybe we could come up with something?
Ideas list?
1) Get your repair bill refunded?
2) £xx vouchure off an ISE product?
3) Bottle of Kens JD? 😆

Has anyone done a draft copy of the questionaire,?
Will the OFT need to see it?
How many questions are required?I have had an attempt if you want to mull over it?
I copy it across later if so.

I think we will come away with one of two things either we will be told that there is no way that we can implement a Code of practice OR we will be told that we can and this is what we need to do it .
I propose that we wait until we see what they say.

Just spoke to Charles, Friday 26/03 good with him, he’s waiting for responces from his team for availability, will call me back next day or two

Still no word back, will call him back tomorrow, I’ve left it a week or so because don’t want to ‘pressure’ him if you get me…?

No reply again today, Monday 22/03! I’d plan work for Friday guys as I aint prepared to hold off anymore… I’ll re-arrange with him WHEN / IF he returns my calls!

Had a voicemail from Charles yesterday confirming Friday. I called him and explained that as it wasn’t confirmed, we’ve had to assume it were off and we’ve filled our day with work.
He’s getting back to me today / tomorrow with a new date, and was very apologetic for not getting back to me earlier!
