OKO-lavamat 61300

    This washing machine has a dial that sticks half way between “Quick wash and Rinse.
    Is this likely to be something I can fix? (ex RAF Aero-engine fitter).

    this sounds like an older machine that makes things simple. when it stick you have to think what it might be trying to do that it cant

    i would look to see if the heater has failed first

    Or, the black rubber sump hose pipe that runs to the air pressure chamber is blocked with the dreaded ‘gunge’. 😕

    Reference the OKO-Lavamat dial sticking.
    The problem was a crack in the solder circuit on the small circuit board attached to the water inlet solenoids. Wriggling the elect. plugs set the machine going.
    Soldered a strip of elect. wire across the gap (allowing for movement) and the machine has now worked fine for several washes.
