Old AEG Oven issue

Electrolux won’t fix my 17 year old pyrolytic oven even though I’m sure it’s just in demo mode or something.
Model B8871-4-M
I messed with button press combinations and a message saying TEST came up at one point. Now it doesn’t heat up. Was only trying to set the time originally

There are two old posts on here from 2009 and 2015 which were not answered on this very topic. I could find nothing in the instruction manual I looked at, there are quite a few versions so would need the PNC number of the label to be sure.

Google search gives a possible solution, search “how to take AEG B8871-4-M out of test mode”.

Hi. Thanks for the reply. It’s disheartening that previous posts about this issue went unanswered. Google only gives hints when there are dials on the control panel.
The PNC is 944 185 305 and SN is 80565452.
I’m currently unemployed and the thought of having to spend a few hundred quid just before Christmas is a nightmare
