Yes last time I looked rear fan , internal fan and grommet were obsolete but all needed on this repair ,also even in available elsewhere ,it makes the job expensive ,was trying to help customer out by keeping cost down .

the mounting of this fan means most motors wont fit as the shaft is long
most common motors these days are short shaft and the motor is bolted to the back of the oven. if you did fit one of these you would have a problem because the hole the fan shaft comes through is quite large to allow for movement so you would need to make a plate to reduce the size of this hole.
all in all I can understand your trying to help out a customer, we all do this every day but there may be a lot of work to modify this

Thanks for replies ,frustrating because I can get the fan ,grommet and motor but not the internal fan blade ,customer says she wants to spend the money and keep it going ,out of interest can anybody tell me why there are three cables ? ,changed a few of these in the past but as I was changing like for like I never gave it much thought .Cras

because there is a toc in the motor that custs out the element if motor overheats
so you have live in
neutral in and out to the elementDave
