Old Servis M3008W not spinning

Hi everyone. I have a Servis M3008W. It washes ok but when it comes to the spin cycle it just rotates back and forward a few times and then fills up with water before shutting down. I understand that this machine does not have brushes but rather an induction type motor. Can anyone tell me if they think the machine can be repaired at a reasonable cost, or should I just get a new one. Thanks for your help

i assume from you post the machine stops full of water

most machine have a rinse hold facility used for delicate fabrics

check yours is not activated
