old zan d/w

Hi all
I have an old zan d/w the one with the 2 blue syphone tubes under the round cap, which will do the first fill but the p/switch wont reset when the water pumps out. (so heats empty 😯 )
when I pull the p/pipe of the sump the p/switch clicks and some water comes out then i have fill again.
Do you think I have a lazy p/switch or a problem with the sypone set up, I have cleaned it 6 times so far ? should there be any water on the pipe side if the syphone tube?

Hi Paul

If the syphons were blocked then the port underneath the draining end of the syphons is prolly blocked too…if you look underneath you’ll see a small looped hose that appears to come out of the sump and double back into it, that’s where the problem will be 😉
