    The culprit is a SGS45E02GB/45 FD8411
Original fault was the drain pump running continuously.Solved this by replacing the control module BUT then we got the overfilling problem, replaced the impellor jug thingy and the fill valve but still the same, just fills until the red float activates the pump.
Interesting fault code appeared, 12 which according to Bosch technical is two fault codes added together =faulty module. So replaced module again also impellor jug to be safe, STILL overfilling! 😯
Checked wiring harness and connectors, no problems. Not getting 12 fault code now though, oh, i did program module on fitting 😉

    Have i missed anything?

    Thanks in advance

    Hi
Don’t take this the wrong way but you did follow arrow direction on flow meter itself to show the direction of water flow ❓ :duck:
Also IIRC they don’t like being in a certain orientation so usually best to fit new one as per old one 😀

Fault code 12 ie add the two faults together
    Fault 4 = Filling Fault
    Fault 8 = NTC Fault

As for module fault as suggested for that fault 😕

Thanks for the reply, no offence taken 😀 it’s getting desperate now!
Yep, i fitted it the same way as original.
The explanation for the fault code came from Bosch technical themselves 😉
Open to any straw clutching ideas… 💡

    Hi
I would check the flow meter wiring by continuity means as you have an interesting fault:?

Many thanks for that Greg 8)
Looks like me & my multimeter are going to have some fun!
as wiring or demonic posession seem to be the only possible faults 😈
