ParticipantSmeg cloned Bosch (WVTI2840GB/04) giving me grief at the moment.
Error code E06 (pump probs also can be gunged-up pressure chamber I’ve found in the past) type error.
Nightmare to access this heap of tin in a pokey apartment anway. Worst still, a tree-hugging customer using ECOBALLS and the machine is clogged up to hell with limescale as a consequence. Pump knackered anyway (£70 odd from Bosch) so changed that with a bayonet pattern pump (£7) and scraped clean the filter chamber – result!
My problem: tried flushing out the pressure chamber with my faithful Bosch syringe but it is clogged up to hell. It will operate the pressure switch but I need to access, remove and clean the air chamber to clear it out fully. But it looks like the ruddy thing is bolted in behind the concrete drum counterweight? Not only that the flippin’ drain tube from the door boot also is connected to it for some reason.
Tree hugger had to go to work so I left it in bits and am returning on Thursday. I reckon that counterweight has to come off. Does my theory hold up on that – HELP?

Yes to access it properly the counterweight does have to be removed.
You did check the pump impeller was as proud as the original didn’t you.

I think that is correct Martin, I have only seen one of these and managed to clear without removal of front weight. I seem to remember someone on here saying that the weights tend to break when removed. Good luck on that one !
