Heyup, he’s having a go at one of mine now. I think you need to have a quiet word with workman1 Greg.
Go easy, at least that post isn’t too bad and he is basically telling the person to get an engineer.
I agree though that he should have trade access and read the stuff to tell him how to answer etc. A friendly chat is more appropriate IMO.

Agreed, but he is undermining my advice by giving the punter precise details on how to remove the hob. As yet he hasn’t asked what I was about to do if the OP came back which was, how does he know for sure the element is faulty, it could be the regulator, I was saving that one. 😉

Fine Greg, we’ll just have to wait and see what happens. I need to go bath kids (ie get soaked) for a bit so if he needs access he’s goosed for about 30 mins or so unless Dave’s about.
