Have you noticed that all the dorks that ask the stupid questions in the public forums, or are ousing sarcasm, all have HOTMAIL email addresses?
For example:

http://www.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/modules.p … 7516#97516

Cannot see pto in the Trade members list. Perhaps he should be told to register or ‘wind his neck in’ a little.
Whilst I’m at it DDSDDS is irking me somewhat, It may just be over enthusiasm, but the number of times he jumps into a thread that has already had a comprehensive answer is bugging me, perhaps I am just stressed. 😉

If you read the multiplicity (irony alert!) of “pto”s threads, he has an axe to grind about Bosch. His name is Jack…. Gegsy – quiet word with Boro or BSHman, perhaps, might reveal something????
DDSDDS – newbie enthusiasm? Not been posting long – rings distant bells somewhere……. Perhaps we should guide him rather than b@ll@ck him. Maybe he knows something about fridges 😀

This is a thread in which DDSDDS, has become involved, a little to involved IMHO.Do you think it is now time to have a quiet word?

Hi DDSDDS.It is great to see another enthusiastic member of the forum. Your input is very much appreciated. However the moderating team feel that you need to be a little more circumspect when posting in the public forums. It is OK to guide with subtle hints and general advice but you must remember that we have absolutely no idea who is at the other end of the post. It could for instance be a 14 year old lad who thinks he is doing his mum a favour. It would not look very professional if we later heard on the news that he had burnt the house down or even worse after getting advice from this site.
One post recently regarding a Creda Superspeed is an example, the member of the public stated early on in his post that he knew nothing at all about washing machines. That should be all you need to pull back and point him in the direction of a qualified engineer.
Safety first has to be our watchword, you will like the rest of us no doubt get a punter who will be upset or rude if you don’t enter into chapter and verse for them but that is the cross we bear.
Please feel free to contact any of the Admin team at any time if you feel the need to discuss this further and please keep up your input, as I have already said it is very welcome.
Regards.
Jim.
……………………………………………….Does that seem a reasonable response.?
