    Indes head is not quite screwed on right at the moment – his wife has cancer, he’s struggling with the whole work thing, so maybe ease up a little?

    Yes Chris I know.

    The trouble is that I can’t allow someone to wreck their life based on that sort of rose-tinted view of the world. If you’re gonna go it alone then they should have all the facts, not just the ones that Indespoint or Mr Merloni want to foist upon you.

    I truly feel sorry for his personal situation but that doesn’t absolve him IMO. If it were me I’d have better things to be doing than promoting my employer, especially were I merely an employee.

    In principle yes…… The difference is I (we) have to find every penny we earn – he has the safety net of a salary, regardless of Indesit’s state of play. Would certainly cloud my vision in his circumstances.

    A very interesting debate nonetheless as long as we all realise that slagging off ones individual choice of job ethic needs a tactful approach. 😉

    This trade is a mix of allsorts, some (like me) won’t jump in the van for less the £40 whereas others are happy with £16 and regular work and guaranteed monkeynuts. 🙂

    We is all different after all…. 8)
