Yep, just read it.
What he totally fails to appreciate is that I’m not worried about him at all, he can go fry himself crispy if he likes and that’s not my problem. My problem is the monkey that tries it “because he read it on t’internet” and accepted it as a hard factual and recommended fix, which of course it isn’t
The expression, “MAD Scientist” springs to mind. Whilst perhaps admirable, maybe even ingenious, it’s not a solution that I’d recommend to any old sod off the street.

I will have to involve site admin at this time as intimidation from ANY user of the site is not allowed.
They have the ultimate decision.
As for blocking him, if you go into a forum where he has posted, there is an ignore button.Hang in there

I have just ‘unstuck’ a post by brett1611 in the Trade Tech forum, I don’t have a problem with people bumping a post if they don’t get an answer but to post a tech question as a Sticky is surely not the done thing. I haven’t told him what I have done, just hoping he gets the message. 🙂

Just deleted a post from Mike in Horwich, in the Public Refrigeration forum, seems he may have been trying to slip it in over the Bank Holiday trying to stir things up.

Helo_75 can be a little ‘forthright’ to say the least but PM’s should stay private. I think a word in Mike in Horwichs ear from Admin may be needed.

I did suggest to Helo that if was still getting grief off that tw@t, he forwarded them to Admin@ and replied the same to M-inH. He picked up the PM, but hasn’t acknowledged it. It worked for me – I haven’t heard from M-in-H since the email I forwarded to Ken.
Point of order Mr Chairman – isn’t the unauthorised publication of a PM a breach of protocols? PMs are just that – Private messages.

Yes, correct a PM is a PM unless made public with permission. To post without that is bad form indeed.
