When I first saw his BBC IP I did post saying that if the BBC canteen needed a new washer then perhaps the ISE 10 would be a better option. Then I thought better of it and pulled it. might be time for a subtle hint though.

Na, sometimes pretending or ignoring that you know who someone is can or what they’re up to can be an advantage. 😉
IMO this may well be one such occasion on which it’s better to just STFU.

BTW, I PM’d Deadhead and invited him to start a debate in the trade forum about Hoover. If he opens that door I just hope he’s prepared for a dollop of truth and a fair bit of vitriolic comment. 😉

In doing so they bankrupted quite a few independents, I was one of them, they owed us over £18,000. I binned well in excess of £5-7000 worth of stock to do their work that I had to pay for!
Now they try to pass out all the sh1t jobs they don’t want or can’t do and expect us to do it for peanuts.
And you wonder why I/we don’t like them much.
They have never supported us, why should we support them?
Maybe, just maybe it’ll start to slowly sink in.

Thing is, they’re okay but not that good. Not particularly great value for money these days and, if you as me, they’re feckin’ ugly.
It really gets me the “follow the leader” type mentality, we had the Aqualtis with it’s aquarium and now we have them trying to see who can fit the largest load into the smallest space for the lowest price, it’s farcical really. Hoover were in ERT last week with a fugly 9kg load machine and, knowing the tight bar stewards at Candy (the Fumagali family) it will still be running on the old Charme bearing assy. They used to tell us it was too expensive to change the tooling to accommodate larger bearing sizes.
Anyways I hope he’s got the message as he got another PM in response to his reply.
