No my brother isn’t intelligent enough to construct that sort of a trolling. 😉

However I do wonder if this is the old engineer fella back again for another round. unn.ac.uk email address, so a lecturer or summat but with little common sense in any event.

    Re: QED ?

blaster has posted WIDL error codes in public forums, we all know they are out there for anyone who can use Google, do we want them on public display on UKWG’s ?

    Re: QED ?

He’s obviously gotten them from somewhere and, as is the nature of the internet, you cannot keep a good secret down whether it is true or not. However, the fact is that we did not publish the codes, a member of the public without access to the trade section has and that indemnifies us thanks very much.

So, I’d have to say leave it as is. If we censor we’re damned and, if we don’t, we’re damned. Hobson’s Choice yet again I’m afraid but leaving it there is erring on the side of caution and, should The Indesit Company ask us to remove it we will make a big play of defending it and if push comes to shove we’ll remove it. Either way, win.

In the end though you still need to work it out. 😉

    Re: QED ?

That thread would have been so much shorter and not contain the error code list had the original post info been picked up on….

Don’t touch it then blaster and phone Indesit straight away…..end of!

Believe me, if you’d seen what I started to post back at the tw@t… 😆

It just wasn’t on and whoever it was beat a hasty retreat and I have to assume that the message was received and understood.

‘Cos it seems to be me that answers all the SMEG/Diplomat d/w queries and there’s only so many answers to a limited number of questions if we try and stick, even loosely, to the “Rules”.

I should point out that there are other members and even moderators who are perfectly capable of answering the questions but choose not to.
