open locked door on Siemens IQ500 stopped mid-cycle

Hi:

I’m hoping someone can give me some advice with this problem:

We have a Siemens IQ500. Someone decided to stop the machine mid-cycle as it looked like it was overloaded.

Now, we’re unable to open the door. Presumably the machine is locking it, maybe because it thinks it’s full of water. But, there doesn’t look like there’s any water in it to me. (In any case, where the machine is, if a little bit of water comes out when we open the door, it doesn’t matter.

Does anyone know how we can get the door open?

Any help greatly appreciated.

Problem solved!

All we had to do was unplug the machine, plug it back in and wait a few seconds, then select a cycle. The locked released.

This is in the instructions but I couldn’t understand them as in Spanish – the person who unplugged could read them though and eventually found the solution.
